We’re seeking a hands-on sales professional (Account Director - Media Sales or similar) to drive growth within Guru – an innovative talent attraction business based in Kent. Combining expert commercial, negotiation and creative sales skills you’ll be the driving factor as we expand through 2019 and beyond.
Founded in 2002, Guru uses the latest online recruitment methods to get vacancies noticed. With clients that include: Red Bull Racing, QVC, English Heritage and Pandora (to name just a few), we help them reach the best talent through our expert understanding of job boards, CV databases, community targeting and social networks. Due to ongoing expansion we are now seeking ambitious Media Sales Execs / Ad Sales Executives to tap into new accounts and build on our existing business.
Reporting into the Sales Director the Account Director - Media Sales will get a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the recruitment industry selling a variety of services ranging from advertising and consultancy to microsites and more. On a day-to-day basis expect to make outbound calls to new and existing clients, update and maintain the CRM, build client relationships, develop accounts, attend client visits and much more.
To qualify... Whether you call yourself an Account Director, Sales Executive, Advertising Sales Executive, Media Account Director, Job Board Sales Executive, Media Sales Executive, Advertising Account Manager (outbound sales), Business Development Manager or similar, we don’t mind you just need to be able to demonstrate:
- A track record within a sales environment;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- The ability to build rapport with clients;
- Resilience under pressure;
- A savviness towards tech (Word, Outlook, CRM Systems etc.);
- The ability to work off your own initiative and the desire to contribute ideas;
- A great attitude.
