An Account Director is needed to join a full-service fundraising agency celebrating three new charity partners already aboard in 2022. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Director or Senior Account Manager ready to step up to work with leading charities and grow a talented Client Services team.

For over 24 years, this innovative agency has helped hundreds of non-profits start and build meaningful relationships with their supporters. Through thought-provoking data analysis, insightful strategy and clever creative solutions they deliver successful campaigns from fundraising, acquisition to legacy – and everything in-between. They are now looking for an Account Director who understands the challenges facing the charity / non profit sectors and can deliver solutions that really make a difference.

You will join as an Account Director who is a real self-starter and will take immediate responsibility for directing and overseeing half the client portfolio, as well as contributing to business growth. Whether you are developing appropriate and effective strategic fundraising and tactical implementation plans; interrogating results and analysis to inform strategy and identify opportunities; attending client meetings; mentoring and managing your team; building great rapport with clients or staying up to date with the latest industry trends you will play a key role in ensuring all charity partners receive the highest standard of client service. 

The agency works with a wide portfolio of charity partners, and you should be comfortable working at both a strategic level or rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in.

Hybrid working options are in place, which means some time spent in the office and some time at home; depending on the role / days worked / needs of the team etc we come to individual arrangements with you. 

To qualify... We are looking for an Account Director / Client Services Director / PR Account Director  / Senior Account Manager /  SAM / AD with a CV that demonstrates:
  • Experience gained in a similar role within an agency environment;
  • Strategic fundraising experience;
  • Excellent client facing communication and a proven ability to grow client accounts;
  • You are analytical and excellent in building rapport;
  • The ability to spot new business opportunities and grow business;
  • The ability to manage a team and distribute knowledge and skills effectively;
  • The ability to offer commercial and strategic input to help to grow a business.
Demonstrable passion for and commitment to the sector would be a plus, particularly human rights, health care and animal welfare.
